SUBWAY U49 - Fashion Editorial

In december I shot two beautiful girls in a subway and around the subway station. It was not easy to get the permission for this shooting since it was christmas market. Here in Germany we have a big christmas market culture and everyone is streaming to the center of the city to grab some drinks and snacks. Anyway, I got confirmation for that shooting and wisely picked some subway stations that doesn't have that big traffic going.

The lights inside the subway stations always inspired me to do a shooting like this. It is really different from my normal lighting style / procedure. Available light only was no option that's why I bought some extra light gear. The Led Panels for normal videocameras were the perfect choice, since I didn't want to get even more attention by using big and unhandy lightequipment such as softboxes etc. You will see how I used them in my next backstage video.

Again, Cäthe Klein did an incredibly job on the styling and pulled of great high quality clothing. This time I wanted a cleaner look on the models and Anja Schweihoff made sure they got it. Along Alexander Marquardt, I had another assistent supporting me named Justus Ullrich. He also filmed the backstage video coming out the next days. This editorial was produced for SUPERIOR Magazine Berlin fashion week issue.

Summing up the Year 2012

Hey guys,

right now I'm in Berlin to visit some friends and celebrate. This year has been a lot of fun to me and I really met a lot of nice and creative people along the road. Thank's to all of you who supported me and followed my photography. I really I wish you all a happy New Year and a lot of motivation and strenght to achieve whatever you have planned for 2013. A new photostory that I shot lately will be published on the 15th of January. Make sure you won't miss it!

Sunday Photosession with Sofia

Rain, rain and more rain. The weather forecast predicts rain for the next two weeks and I really want to get creative and take some photos. Sofia messaged me on short notice and we were able to arrange a shooting on a rainy sunday. I shot her with mainly natural light inside my apartment. The big windows worked great as a main light source and the outcome is really pleasing.

One Of These Days - Fashionstory for SUPERIOR Magazine

First off: This is by far the best fashion shooting I had. Everything worked out as planned and I'm super happy to finally present the story One Of These Days to you.
